35 Weeks and Counting

Well I'm 35 weeks pregnant. I went to the doctor today and he said I'm measuring pretty big. He asked what size my other kids were and I told him Gideon was my biggest and he was 8 lbs 13 oz. He asked how I thought this baby compared with him, and I told him I thought she was bigger and he agreed that she might be. I'm really hoping she comes early. We'll keep you posted on the latest.

Eliza's birthday

Eliza's birthday was over a month ago now, but I figured we would share some pictures from her party. She had a scuba diver themed party. We played pin the mask on the scuba diver, musical whale (musical chairs-type game), and hit an octopus pinata. We completed the fun with a snorkeler cake.

Laundry Problems

Okay Gideon has an obsession with doing the laundry. I try to do a load or two a day so it doesn't pile up and he has taken it upon himself to "help". Last week he got the wet laundry out of our front loader washer and put it in the basket and stuck the next load in. I thought it was cute. A couple of days later when I was doing his laundry, he took out his clothes and put them upstairs in his dresser. I ended up having to dry all of his clothes. Today he somehow stopped the load while it was going and took the soaking load of laundry out and put it in a basket with some towels in it. There was water all over the floor! I told him he can't help anymore. He was traumatized. We'll have to work out doing the laundry together, rather than him doing it on his own.

Gideon and Me

Okay it has been a few weeks since Emma, Benjamin, and Eliza went to school, but we still miss them. Gideon and I are getting into our own routine, but it is so strange to be just the two of us. We have been working on puzzles, going to toddler storytime, playgroup and other things to keep us busy. It is still quiet though, and I don't think Gideon knows what to do with all the Mommy time. I'm still working on trying to get this blog up and going. Maybe in a little while I'll actually tell someone about it.

Crazy with Blogs

Okay, we've got the new baby coming and instead e-mailing pictures to everybody we are trying a blog. No laughs please. I have debated for months about whether to start one or not and seriously doubt very many people will read it, but hey at least I won't have to hear complaints about emailing pictures. Well here we go!
